Pile: Low/Medium pile with age-related wear and patina. Wonderful condition for its age and we've re-bound the edges for a nice clean look all by hand and a nice matching wool.

About: SEAFOAM Blue-Greens that shift to ice and pastel-glacier blue hues - that border is insane. Then, you ahve the field which the dseign is unique for this family of rug, but inside you'll ALSO see shifting indigo, muted navy and so much more. Nice sushi pinks, muted corals, and lots of lovely life while keeping its refined and sophisticated essence. Gorgeous piece.

Did they weave it for personal use, commerce, to gift, or trade? Who was the second owner, and the third!? Sometimes the little motifs and symbols in rugs can help tell the story, but we will never truly know - there's something beautiful about that.
