Pile: Low / Med with nice character-rich patina there and there - amazing stories to be told from the re-weaves that these weavers did in slightly different shades and hues adding a UNIVERSE of depth. Magnificent the decisions and choices that were made while restoring this piece, it just really speaks to me!

About: One of the better European-Sized pieces you'll see. This antique rug was never intended to make its way state-side and thought its future would be in the living quarters of a French-Flat or Italian Villa cobblestones and old stones with freshly baked bread just minutes away where the local butcher knows you by name. But, alas, here we are lucky to get our paws on a gorgeous example of old tribal rug weaving with the masterful color combinations of the artisans and weavers. Gorgeous Terracotta, rust, melon, strawberry, water blue, denim blue, ice blue, with deep indigo, complex navy, earthy salmon, coral pinks, and even the beloved and rare - pistachio green 😻 This piece is truly one of the best examples of the artistic and unleashed imagination of the unnamed weavers that offered the world their art which we try so passionately to transcend beyond our lifespan. You too, will appreciate this art the moment a piece like this graces your floors, and then you'll be back for more - don't say I didn't warn you!!!
