Pile: Low/Med pile with age-related wear and patina.  I had this piece fully restored, so it is in MINT ANTIQUE CONDITION. 

About: UNREAL Antique Heriz rug, one of the most beautiful we've ever seen.  The field of the rug alone is a masterclass in abrash as it shifts from clay, to terracotta, to rust, to amber to candy apple red! This piece has the most beautiful medallions with sorbet and sunset hues flanked with charcoal lining, unbelievable use of dark, medium and soft blues with camel and yellows in the border and throughout, and if that wasn't enough, the delicious salmon-pinks, the cameos of greens, and the espresso-charcoal that highlight a lot of the motifs are the perfect subtle anchor.  If you want a TRUE GEM, a decorative STUNNER, and one of the most Naive Northwest village art pieces in a room size - here she is!!! 

This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available.

Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.
