Name: PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS πŸ™πŸ½ UNIQUE Abstract Landscape Art Meets MysticalΒ of the Iconic Southwest Weaving in UNREAL DYES | 4.6 x 6.6

Size: 4.6 x 6.6

Age: Antique, C. 1920-30's

About:Β Don't buy this. There are so many other great pieces we have, buy one of them instead. I considered not even listing this, it's just one of my absolute favorites that have ever crossed our collection.Β  I have thought about keeping it for our home, and still might.Β  I'm not sure if I'll ever come across something in this vein that speaks to me so truly on a primitive level.Β  It is like a fantasy or oasis in the minds of the weavers, a vision or dream that they had and had to weave at the loom.Β  I just love it.Β  True art; landscape art, a breath of abstract art, slightly deconstructed art, all surrounded by the iconic weavings of the Southwest Persian master weavers - and not only the weaving itself, but the dyes... the colors in this piece are next-level incredible.Β  Just look at this rug and you will NEVER get tired of it; it is a masterpiece when it comes to its uniqueness.Β  These eyes have seen a lot of rugs over the years, only a handful this unique to me.Β  So, I am listing it for sale for a price that will ensure me that it'll go to a good place, to someone that genuinly loves it for what it is-Β  art art art.Β  Not a rug.Β  This doesn't mean you have to hang it, this doesn't mean you put it in a space with no foot traffic - no, this means use it and let it be loved and viewed and inspire the very eyes and souls that cross it.Β  These rugs are to be enjoyed, not just by you, but by the world - be the messenger and show it off to the world.Β

Β

This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available.

Β

Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.Β

Β

Any questions about this rug? Don't hesitate to reach out!

Β

We always recommend a high-quality custom cut pad for any and all rugs; these pads are made for hand-knotted rugs. They create a body and support the knots of the rug, as well as prevent it from slipping and sliding.

Β

A note from us to you: Buying a rug is special; it's not just you finding the rug, but also the rug finding you. Think about the many coincidences that have to occur for you to find the rug of your dreams. Our rugs are woven by nomads in the villages and remote mountainous regions of the major rug weaving districts across the world. All of our rugs are genuinely old and one-of-a-kind. Like anything old and unique, they are filled with character, soul, and story. The story of a rug is something we think about a lot; who was the weaver(s)? Did they weave it for personal use, commerce, gift, or trade? Who was the second owner, and the third!? Sometimes the little motifs and symbols in rugs can help tell the story, but we will never truly know - there's something beautiful about that. Alas, our joy is to curate these incredible pieces that speak to us, and to pass them along to their new owners to be enjoyed and cherished for many years to come; both continuing to add to the story of the rug, and to the story of the new owners.
