Age: Antique/Vintage, C. 1940's or so

Pile: Low/Medium pile with age-related wear and patina. Really a lovely piece in SUPERB condition, we will secure both sides of the fringe for you before we ship this piece out to you. UNREAL Sheen - you'll love it.

About: Just show me anything remotely close to his one... The moment I saw this piece I said to myself - how does something like this even exist?! The design and artistic cypress trees throughout are one thing, the rare lion appearances are another, the gorgeous birds of course add some levity to the piece, but it's this SUPER rare Color palette in SILK that I've just never seen before. Typically, I will see these unusual blues and greens as highlight colors in other pieces, but for htem to be the main colors and then highlighted with earthy walnut, camel, almond, gold, and about a dozen other hues - it's just a true treat for the eyes.  Anywhere you place this piece, you'll NEVER be able to cover up the energy and movement because it's everywhere - so I mean it when I say - even if there will be a dining room table, a bed, a coffee table, lots of curniture, or anything else that will be covering some of the rug up - don't let that discourage you beacuse you'll see see the beauty in every square inch that's exposed, and it's typically much more than you think! I hope you cherish this piece the way it was meant to be, and that you spend HOURS looking at it and getting lost in this FAIRYLAND!
