Pile: Medium Plush Wool, incredibly soft, lanolin-rich, high-quality wool that is both strong and soft. Your feet will LOVE it. We've tidied up some areas and done some minor restoration; there's still some low and light missing pile throughout and if this bothers you , we can repile all the areas - reach out for a quote; otherwise this piece is a GEM.
About: One of the FINEST WEAVES I've ever seen on a piece from this Northwest Persian village - you can see the quality of clarity in the border, and in every single exotic motif inside the field. Magnificent colors and just a BEYOND special beauty. The turtle borders look like real turtles swimming in the water, the crisp vines look like they're actually holding never-before-seen geometric flora, and the colors are so brilliant you'll think you're seeing color for the first time. It really is that incredible. One of the VERY best Heriz-Serapi pieces we've ever had in our collection. We had one in this family with the iconic medallion design that sold to a wonderful client, but having this same caliber in the more exotic and uncommon all-over design is next level!
